Divine Abstractions: Spiritual Expressions in Art. Sheldon Statewide Exhibition, Sheldon Museum of Art, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, May 1, 2009–July 9, 2010.

This traveling exhibition explored changing notions of spirituality in modern and contemporary art. The exhibition was part of Sheldon Statewide, an annual exhibition that serves rural populations throughout Nebraska. It is an outreach program that provides related instructional and cultural programming at all each venue.

Responsible for Sheldon Statewide, I served as the exhibition’s spokesperson and facilitated the transport of Divine Abstractions. This meant ensuring that the venues were equipped to display all artwork, organizing related programming, and arranging accommodations for the instructors and preparators who traveled with the exhibition.
