Dan Christensen: Forty Years of Painting. Sheldon Museum of Art, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, October 23, 2009–January 31, 2010.
Sheldon collaborated on this survey of paintings by artist Dan Christensen with Kansas City’s Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, which organized the exhibition. The display of Christensen’s works documented his investigations of color, paint, and pictorial space. Forty Years of Painting featured approximately 35 large-scale canvases painted between 1967 and 2007.
As curatorial assistant, I aided in the development and implementation of the exhibition's marketing components, which included a series of podcast interviews I conducted with members of the curatorial team. I further assisted with its installation and provided editorial content for all related interpretive materials.
