Zen Arts: Personal Collection and Original Works by Shozo Sato. Dittmar Gallery, Northwestern University, May 10–24, 2003.

Artist Shozo Sato collaborated with Dittmar to present the artist's personal collection. The exhibition included ceramic tea bowls, Black Ink paintings, and calligraphy. In conjunction with Northwestern University’s School of Communication, Zen Arts included lectures and workshops centered around Japanese music and dance, the art of Sumi-e, Noh drama, Ikebana, Kabuki theatre, and the Japanese tea ceremony.

My primary responsibilities while working on Zen Arts included planning and executing its marketing strategy, collaborating with the School of Communications and various student groups to organize events programming, producing written content for all interpretive materials, providing support to Sato, and assisting with exhibition installation and dismantling.
